My favorite places to eat
in and around Duluth

For its size, the Duluth area has a respectable number of local restaurants. In recent years, it has also become a hot-spot on the craft beer and cider scene.

Below are a selection of some of my favorites!

Duluth Grill
Local standard fare restaurant. They locally source a lot of their food. Try the fish tacos!

OMC Smokehouse
Local BBQ joint. Try anything!

Love Creamery
Local ice cream shop that makes their own. I recommend getting a flight of mini-scoops.

Northern Waters Smokehaus
Local smoked meat and sandwich shop. Try the Bison Bits.

Anchor Bar & Grill
Local “dive” bar. Try the Cashew Burger.

Va Bene Caffe
Local Italian restaurant. Try the Pesto Frutti di Mare.

Maya Family Mexican Restaurant
Local Mexican restaurant. Try the Chile Colorado.

Corktown Deli
Local sandwich shop. Try the BBQ Classic Brisket Sandwich.

Gordy's Hi-Hat
Classic diner-style joint. Closed in the winter. Try the burgers, fries, and malts.

India Palace
Local Indian restaurant.
I have to go for the buffet, because it's all good.
